Job description

Media designers for digital and print media work autonomously or within the design concepts team. At the PC, they develop texts, images and graphics for very differing print media. They focus on the creation of press-ready products according to editorial and technical specifications and the development of design concepts taking technical and commercial aspects into account.

Tasks

At Kaeser, media designers for digital and print media use the newest generations of graphics software for their work. This very versatile area of responsibility ranges from drafts to final drawings of very differing print products such as brochures, ads, invitations, posters and employee and customer newsletters. They are also involved in the planning and realisation of trade shows.

Technical Product Designer - Machine and Equipment Design

Job description

Technical product designers specialising in machine and equipment design and construct components, assemblies or total systems according to customer requests. In collaboration with production personnel, they use CAD systems to create detailed construction plans for the modernisation of compressors for example. They follow drafting standards and specify dimensions for the drawings to be ready for manufacture. They take electro-technical components into account and select suitable standard parts and materials meeting the specifications. They constructively implement change requests arising from fault and test reports and

ensure that new developments can be realised in an economically feasible manner. They also create assembly plans and bills of material for the manufacturing departments. They maintain product documentation, manage the various development versions and ensure data security.

Tasks

Technical product designers at Kaeser are involved in the entire development process for new products. They usually follow draft drawings and instructions given by the design engineer to create general arrangement and part drawings, sectional views, installation and wiring diagrams at CAD systems.

Job description

Warehouse specialists receive goods and subsequently store them appropriately. They pick shipments for dispatch and/or provide goods to the appropriate locations in the facility.

When storing goods, they ensure proper storage sequence and use computers to record the article information. They are able to provide information about stocks and storage location at any time. They also control and maintain inventories in regular intervals.

For outgoing items they package the goods as required, create shipping documents and collate loading units. To facilitate checks and to avoid errors, warehouse specialists identify, label and secure shipments in compliance with applicable legal provisions. They are trained in the operation of various transport and conveyor systems.

Tasks

Process technicians for coating technologies apply paints and enamels on surfaces using machine and manual processes. Metal technology specialists who specialise in assembly technology use connection techniques to manufacture machines and systems from individual parts. They prepare workflows, handle production and assembly orders, as well as the associated documentation such as assembly plans and parts lists, and plan work steps. The required components are manufactured using either manual or machine-based production processes. They assemble components into assemblies in accordance with the correct position and function, using techniques such as bolting, pinning, riveting, welding or soldering. They also assemble cables and electrical elements in accordance with the wiring and function diagrams. They assemble compressors and compressed air dryers from components and assemblies. In addition, they set the required functions and check that the finished product operates as intended.
